Great cut and post. Nice pictures 🍺👍🇺🇸🇨🇦

Being a PPV too she was probably ran pretty hard. Not bad even factoring that in.

I can't make out the date code ... looks like "A3", a 2023 build. Probably why it still has holes and not louvers.

So is this filter really any better then the Ultra?
Its Advance Autoparts retail branding of the Fram Ultra. At a quite huge markup compared to walmart. Endurance is the closest youll get to the old fram ultra which was highly regarded here before the media change.

I didn't know they changed the Ultra media.....:(
Its now a synthetic meltblown spray over on a cellulose blend backing. If you want my 2 cents its an upgraded Tough Guard with slightly more pleats and a metal seam crimp and endcaps. It doesn't look special to the former wire backed pink media one. I cut one open a few months ago, it did its job, just another run of the mil looking filter now, for under 10 dollars its not a bad option, just not what it once was.

was thinking it was a spray over - here is the new one I boiled in water and that stuff has clumped …
also found it very easy to tear unlike when M1 had a tough blended media
