(Note: I am using these Oil Filters on both a 2022 Silverado with 2.7 Liter Turbo Gasoline and 2025 Silverado with 3.0 Liter Duramax Diesel)

My initial visual observation between the AC Delco PF66 (1273 5608) and the Fram PH12447 Extra Guard show that they are very similar except the following:

AC Delco PF66 Fram PH12447

can painted blue. can painted orange

black drain anti back material color orange anti drain back material color

I suspect they are manufactured by the same filter manufacturer. Could it be Champ Labs?

Any other differences that I am missing?

Any reason to use the AC Delco or Fram version other than cost?

Thanks for your review and information

Yes, most likely Champ, The orange ADBV is silicon. I would look at some of those cut open on here & to wait until the leaf spring ruffles have been remedied.

More than likely it’s first Brands made who in turn makes champ Labs filters.

Appreciate the information.

I was not aware of First Brand Products and that they own Fram and Champ Labs as well as other auto related parts companies.

Always good to learn something new.

Thanks
