Does the AC Delco Gold/Professional line have a silicone adbv? I know the standard PF1233 is similar (same) as the Champ PH2840 or the ST 4967 with the nitrile adbv. Is the Gold similar to the Champ PH2840xl?

I remember seeing nitrile in a cut and post of a gold but is the filter top screwing or sideways screwing. If it's top screwing I wouldn't worry. If it's side screwing or worse upside down like a Subaru I'd worry.

Side screwing on the Toyota 2.0L for my wifes car. I'll probably just stay with the Champ 2840XL, the price difference is pretty negligible all things considered.

Unless you are doing extended oil change intervals nitrile is perfectly fine so I wouldn't be too focused on that.

These are cheap at the dealer I guess.. but expensive other places. I mean.. why not get a superior $10 Carquest Premium or Microgard Select with what looks like better media, plus a silicone adbv and a complimentary silicone gasket thrown in for you ? Otherwise you can get the product from the same mfgr as the PF1233 Gold which afaik is this model: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=11192593&cc=0&pt=5340&jsn=1774

Any time there is oil in galleries above the oil filter, the ADVB is useful regardless of what orientation the filter is mounted.
