AC Delco Duraguard

I have discovered on this site that most AC delco duraguard oil filters are made by champion. I examined the PF1233 for my camry and compared it to the supertech model and they are identical from the outside. Does the AC delco champion made filters use the same filter media as the supertech?

There are some blue Duraguard filters out there that look just like the Champions (the ones at Auotzone). AC Delco definitely has 2 sources for some of these filters.

I have determined that the pf1233 filter I have is a champion. My question now is.....does the ac delco champion made filter have the 98% at 20 micron, partially synthetic media as the supertech?

According to info I've read elsewhere on the Internet that is purported to be from a GM engineer, AC Delco filters are made both "in house" by GM's Delphi division and by Champion and the Champion made filters use a media that conforms to AC Delco specs.
