Does anyone know if all of the oils that AC Delco sells are just rebadged Mobil oils? I have heard in the past that AC Delco Dextron VI was a Castrol product.
Think that’s older … the current bottle is P66 and looks like Kendall and othersThe bottle is usually a reasonable indication. This one is obviously a Mobil product:

Welcome to BITOG
The new bottles look like Motorcraft/Kendall:

GM using Motorcraft Oil?![]()
COP does E&P … ChevronPhillips does PAO and other … P66 does not even hydro crack to make GIII …GM using Motorcraft Oil?![]()

Yeah … I know people who work there but that’s not who’s filling those bottlesChevronPhillips is (a 50-50) owned by Chevron and Phillips66
It’s about the Capital (Warren Buffet does not formulate oil additives)Yeah … I know people who work there but that’s not who’s filling those bottles
Being it’s an oil site … I think the answer is hydro process lubes from P66It’s about the Capital (Warren Buffet does not formulate oil additives)

Betting that was low bid …
Did not mean to RE you since I’m not responding to Motorcraft …They market the S-Oil Bases I believe and the last I heard the Korean Made GIII was the synthetic component of the 5W-20 and 5W-30 Motorcraft.
As a matter of fact if I'm right on the base stocks in the SP GF6-A it's 60% VI 100 GII and 40% VI 123 GIII.
Point is they hydro process II’s & III’s … and low bid that meets specs is what GM needs these days …Finished, marketed products is a better name.
