Does anyone know if all of the oils that AC Delco sells are just rebadged Mobil oils? I have heard in the past that AC Delco Dextron VI was a Castrol product.

The bottle is usually a reasonable indication. This one is obviously a Mobil product:

Dexron VI.webp

There's no "t" in Dexron but I'm not sure about Dex VI.
Dex III was from Petro Canada and it was definitely good stuff.
Surely there's somebody on here from a GM plant who will let us know.

The oils used on the assembly line and sold in the dealerships may not be the same vendor, and GM cars in different countries may also use different vendors.

Within the US ExxonMobil has the contract for the GM dealer network.

Contracts are renewed every five years, but I don't recall when that contract comes up for renewal.

I was under the impression that Phillips 66 is a 50-50 partner with Flint Hills Resources in Excel Paralubes, which makes Group III bases, and that P66 is the sole operator of Excel Paralubes and marketer of its Pure Performance products.

COP does E&P … ChevronPhillips does PAO and other … P66 does not even hydro crack to make GIII …
Betting that was low bid …

They market the S-Oil Bases I believe and the last I heard the Korean Made GIII was the synthetic component of the 5W-20 and 5W-30 Motorcraft.

As a matter of fact if I'm right on the base stocks in the SP GF6-A it's 60% VI 100 GII and 40% VI 123 GIII.

Did not mean to RE you since I’m not responding to Motorcraft …
But, FYI … SK is the big base oil supplier … Yubase …
