A pleasant McDonalds experience!

So much hate for McD :(

Yes, they sell poison but they are an American institution.

I have to admit, I buy their food when on the road and actually prefer their coffee to Starbucks.

McDonalds had some amazingly good deals on their app for a while.

One dollar McDoubles.
Any size coffee for 99 cents.
Free Big Mac with any $1 purchase.

My wife and I would go for a cheap snackiah lunch there for a buck a pop each. Then go back home and munch on some healthier stuff to balance it all out.

Then they stopped giving out the deals and we stopped going. It ticked me off a bit when they sent emails saying that my points were about to expire when I didn't have enough to buy anything for cheap on their app.

They robbed us of our penurious plentitude! And for that I will forsake them until they give me another $1 deal. But no coffee. I don't drink coffee anymore.

We do eat breakfasts at McD's. Never lunch or dinner. I prefer drive thru. Last time I was actually inside a McD's two immigrant women were letting several barefoot toddlers run wild in the place, while they changed a baby's #2 diaper ON their table. They finally left and didn't even throw the diaper away. Left it stitting there ON the table with the rest of their trash. Others could smell it. 100% Third world.
That's just horrible; morons.

In Canada our McDonald’s has the best Iced Coffee! And in the summer months it’s only $1 for any size. I have tried the Iced Coffee in US McDonald’s and it’s not as good. I’m addicted to their fries too! 😋

I don't mind a Big Mac and Quarter Pounder with Cheese 3-4 times per year. An Apple Pie for desert.
Their Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle breakfast sandwiches are good too once in a while.
I have never worried about dying from my food choices. When most of us finally die, we will be going to a better place immediately afterwards.

I got their KCups from Sam's the other day. Don't think it's the same but it's been a while since had in the store coffee. I wonder if they filter their water and how.

Funny enough, my coworker and I just talked about this. In early 2000s he went to go help McD corporate in oak Brook, illinois and saw they had a 6-stage with reverse osmosis setup in its own room. He said every McD is required to have it.

I remember my last time at McDonald's. Ate the meal, started feeling weird. Went to their restroom and vomited everything I just ate. No I was not sick or fevering, but my body just refused McDonald's food. Never been back since, trusting the gut on this one. That was 2013.

The coffee is pretty good IMO, and for $1 is nicer still!
My local town just got a McDonalds last year and the amount of road garbage has gone up noticeably, but we have had a Tim Hortons for a long time which also produces lot of garbage that ends up with garbage on the road too.
I can't handle ~$15 meals there, so we don't go unless its desperate times....

McDonald's is actually pretty decent, although probably not a suitable everyday diet.
They do offer killer deals on the app from time to time.
Download the app to as many phones as you use, since the offers vary with user and you might get the killer deal on one app but not the other.

A friend of mine went there 3 times a day because he did not want to cook his own food, he passed away a month ago at 70 years old, and the cause was a Heart Attack.
My grandpa and his 6 brothers all passed away before they were 60 years old eating Italian farm food. But fast food isn't what would be called healthy or nutritious .

Not really a McDs regular, but late night or early morning stomach grumblings had me gravitate there while on shift sometimes. Have 3 in our city and made friends with the manager of our cleanest one after helping with a couple theft calls. She always made sure everything was right and took a lot of care with her restaurant. The coffee was always fresh and quite good. And fresh Egg McMuffins? The absolute best at 5AM. The other 2 never came close, nor did most others that I visited on very rare occasion. She left about 3 years ago and I've never been back. Prefer my coffee now at Dunkin, Spinx, or QT.

Still have good deals here. Lots-o-competition
