A couple ARX questions

To begin, I drive a 1997 Acura 2.5 TL. It's got an Inline 5 (yes, five), SOHC, compression ratio is 9.6:1 I believe. I don't have any of the history on the car before 125k, but have replaced most major fluids in the 20k that I have owned it.

The car originally had a single, small, oil leak, around the base of the oil filter housing, but that was repaired, and I don't have any leaks.

I don't burn/consume a largely noticable amount of oil, less than half a quart every 3-5k miles.

For the last 20k, I have been using Quaker State Peak Performance (available easily and cheaply locally).

I've been considering using ARX as a preventative sort of step, but was wondering if it was advisable. It seems like most people who use it use it to fix a leak, but I don't have a leak to be fixed. It surely wouldn't cause any problems, correct?

I've read around quite a bit, and it looks like I should be all set but I just wanted to double check.

Also, when I get my next gallon of FP60 (HIGHLY satisfied) I am going to get some LC20 also. Could I use in with the ARX, or no? I wasn't planning on it since it seems to be overkill almost, but again, was curious.

I appologize if these questions have been answered before, but I couldn't seem to find quite what I Was looking for.

I would use ARX on any car (at any mileage) that I couldn't personally account for the validity of the maintenance record.

Don't use LC and ARX together, there are plenty of posts on the matter.

Periodic use of ARX is never a bad thing. It is very likely a very good thing if you have purchased the unit used, with no maintenance history. Diections are simple, add a bottle of ARX with 1500 miles of service life left on the motor oil, no matter what type. Then run a short 2000 mile run on dino, as a rinse. Its pretty simple. Don't run two chemical additives at the same time. The host oil can only juggle one ball at a time. There is no need for LC during the rinse phase. The cheap dino will perform fine for 2000 miles.
