Yep, this time of the year the ground is wet enough that they have little mud mounds built up everywhere. Even though the surface is dry, there's enough moisture below to make them happy I guess. Once the ground dries up during the summer, you just don't see them, where they disappear to, I couldn't tell you. That one in the picture was a small one, There are big ones that have a dark reddish-brown color. In the ground?? Odd to me. Not red brown??

I guess I’ll ask you a question now.
It's amazing how something so small and innocent can turn a nice clean area as you have pictured into a federally declared disaster area. This baby gives off a strong “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” vibe.
30 seconds later he had pulled out every toy he could reach and threw them on the floor.

Basically the back of my shop. Not really a mow area. I should have done a before picture. It was full of nasty sticky stickery weeds.I guess I’ll ask you a question now.
So did you burn around your foundation to keep from having to trim it while mowing or some other reason?
In October I will have a total of 4 boys making a messIt's amazing how something so small and innocent can turn a nice clean area as you have pictured into a federally declared disaster area.
