Beetle spotted in the wild. Downtown Roanoke VA. I actually like the color I think it suits the car well. Unsure for certain of the year but guessing 1971 or 72 super. My plate lookup doesn’t recognize antique plates. Keys were in it I should of took it for a “test drive” lol.

That's a '72, which had 4 engine vent slots and the small tail lights.

I was sitting out by my fire pit last evening and looked down to see this little guy staring at me. I think it was pi**ed off because I ran over it’s little mud skyscraper with the mower earlier.
So to make peace, I pinched off a piece of hot dog and it took it down into the hole.

There’s something beautiful about storm clouds. I was sitting out on the front patio enjoying the cool breeze and the sound of thunder and decided to snap a few pics.

It's a crawdad, crayfish, crawfish, whichever you want to call it. I believe that they call them Yabby's in Australia. ( I think everyone should just call them Yabby's, it sounds better.)
