I saw some a/c delco oil filters and they were not e-core did they go back to the original design or was that old stocK?

there was a GM bullitin not to long ago basically saying they were going to continue to produce the old style as well as the new style. So, you have the option of both. Both are great filters, they are designed to go with a OLM so will work for 7500 and under (longest I would run them) OCIs.
Yep I've seen both maybe old stock yet but like stated there producing both,,go with the traditional style no chance of media blow through like with the escrap design, there a carbon copy of the NG's,WIX good filters silicon ADBV built well.

The classic styles I have seen were not wix/NG clones. They are Champion lab classic style filters. Metal end caps and center tube, but nitril ADBV. They are a great quality filter for the $.
I know there were a handful of people that bought some Wix made PF52 or PF59 that were Wix made, but it seems they were a short run, maybe just a temporary purchase to keep up with demand?

My sister got her oil changed at a used car dealership and then the next time my dad changed it. The filter the dealership used was a Wix clone AC Delco.
