I changed oil in my John Deere zero turn with a Kawasaki V-twin and this is what came off. Looks like an e-core with metal caps. I refilled it with John Deere 10W-30 oil and I replaced the filter with the exact same number. The dealer threw in a filter and a couple of quarts of oil, so that was a no-brainer. The filter looked okay (by my standards), but I will probably go with a Hastings or Wix next time the oil change is due.

It’s a baby filter 🤣🤣

Looks good sir. I Thank You

Used that filter many times and have over 600 hours on the JD130 w/ the 22H.P. B&S Twin Cylinder . Most of oil has been P.P. 5w-30 . Thinking about a Carquest Premium ( Blue ) oil filter in the fall . Not sure which # it is .

'If' same as the E120 20 hp Briggs Twin, the somewhat longer 3614 equivalent 'should' work. In the CQ Prem. that should be the 85348. That's using the last 3 digits CQ uses, same as Wix numbering system. If you're looking for equivalent to topic filter, seeing as it's an OPE filter, can't help there. If interested in the CQ, just make sure access permits use.

Zinc-plated metal end caps... integrated bypass valve with a coil spring....zinc-plated base plate.. no sloppy gluing... Maybe I've seen better, but I know I've definitely seen worse.
