I pulled this recently to clean the contacts and see if I could get the drvr & psngr rear windows to raise back up. Partially successful. However, close inspection revealed some very badly pitted contacts. It is nearly 15 yrs old and the OEM part. I took photos but they were badly out-of-focus despite using the 'macro' mode.
I found the issue with the RL window to be the wiring at the back of the connector. I could jiggle the harness while holding down the switch and it would suddenly start closing.
A quick 'net search revealed this as a possible solution. Haven't heard of Dorman before.
This also reminded me the window lift mechanism is certainly long overdue for a good clean and new lube after so many years...and lifts.
I'm thinking white lithium grease here, any other suggestions?
