Oil was run from Dec 15 09 to June 14 10. Oil Filter was Purolator Pure One. I did add .5 quart in April. Car been driven 50/50 Highway/City. Mostly stuck in NJ traffic! Nitration was the only thing to stand out here, and a bit confused by it since everything else looks great

. I noticed from this thread HERE (same oil, different car) that it might be normal for PP? Previous fill was Edge 10W-30 (untested). Ran that for 10,000. Now the car has SSO with a oversized EaO filter. Planning on keeping that for a year.

Wow, those are some seriously low wear numbers!!! I can't speak to the nitrates as I have no idea what they are/ come from, but otherwise looks great!!

The PP seemed to work for you the SSO may not give you anything more unless you take it out longer, but you know now what the PP will do i'd stay PP.

You can certainly use a syn oil with the miles you drive . The SSO should be good for more miles[way more] looking at how well your engine is doing.

Nitration is a byproduct of combustion. It causes oil thickening and contributes heavily to varnish. Not sure why they marked your report as critical because of them. Overall I think this is a good report.
