Those two timing chains must have helped the shearing along. Anyhow, nice engine. Somewhere on the net there is a website detailing a rebuild of one of these v12 BMW engines. Quite a complicated piece of machinery. Even the engine block is in several pieces. I wish I could find it to share it with BITOG'ers.
