I've owned my 1999 TJ since 2002. I've run nothing but 10W-30 M1 with a M1 filter, changing it every year or 7000 miles. The Jeep has only experienced a few minor problems- I replaced the cracked exhaust manifold with a Banks Torque Tube and I pitched the leaking aluminum/plastic radiator in favor of an all-metal Modine unit. I've also pulled the gauge cluster a few times to clean the electrical contacts. Since my Jeep was built by Daimler Chrysler I've tried to keep it as German as possible by fitting Bilstein shocks, Hella E-Code headlamps, and MB Quart speakers...
