95 Ford H.O. 5.0 with 130,000 miles on MTF

Should I be worried about the amount of miles on my manual trans fluid? I'm sure it is time to change it and the final drive oil. The car in question is a 95 mustang GT with 130,000 easy miles. Any suggestions on when to change, how often and what type of fluids would be nice. Thanks!

Change the fluid now.
Read the owners manual for fluid choice which I think is dexron/mercon ATF for the T-5 manual tranny.

Synthetic ATFs would be a nice upgrade.

I couldn't take it anymore, I've misplaced my owners manual and decided to just change both. I'm pretty good at changing oil, just really don't have the experience at the other stuff.

The manual says to use mercon for the T5. I used a dual-rated Mercon/Mercon V in mine, it shifts better in cold weather now.
