Yep, I try to "finish" my threads with answers or conclusions. Once in a while I'll do a search and find the answer to my question--and it'll be a thread I wrote some years before!

Got some AC Delco's... including 4 gals of ATF. Still waiting for more parts to come!

Nothing to do... even today was -6°. Still, first thing to do is drain old gas. Anyways, below is a photo of lower radiator hose. See the metal coil is sticking out on one end. Do I leave that alone and shovel it in when installing the hose?

Push the spring in to fit and do not remove it. It keeps the hose from collapsing...
