I don't think he needs to worry about his normal driving. He also doesn't have to worry about long term wear. He's pushing about 3X the OEM power levels. He's going to be racing it.
Anyone thinking he's not going to be refreshing this engine at a GREATLY increased rate from a normal passenger car engine (even a stock SRT turbo), I think they should reconsider the particulars. He's preventing "damage".
