53' Stude's VOA- Carquest SAE 40

I did my oil change yesterday on the 2006 GM-Holden (Opel) Astra, the 1.8L H series Astra.

Out: Castrol Magnatec 5W30 SN & A3/B4 full synthetic (Group III) & Repco Z154 filter.

In: Penrite SAE 30 monograde (Small Engine - mineral) & Valvoline V06 filter.

OCI = 11,600 km / 7,209 miles / 9 months

SAE 30 Monograde is API SG/CD, non-friction modified, VI = 113 (Group II) , Zinc = 1170ppm, TBN = 6.5, SA = 0.67%. Colour = red.
The TBN is a bit lower, so I'll probably change a bit earlier at 8,000km / 5,000 miles, while keeping the Valvoline syn-blend media filter in for a second run.
Changed the oil again yesterday

Vehicle = GM-Holden (Opel) Astra (AH)
OCI = 7,400 km / 4,600 miles / 6 months

Out = Penrite SAE 30, monograde mower oil (API SG)
In = Nulon 5W30 Long-Life full synthetic (Dexos1-Gen2)

Filter is Valvoline V06 with synblend media, let it ride a bit longer.

Car went fine on the monograde, nothing bad to report.
It's winter here, down to 5C (41F) overnight, but the coldest I started it was about 10C (50F) when heading to work. It started fine and easy, in my mild winter.
