Here is the disappointing VOA of SAE 90 ALMASOL from a drum that was in lte fathers garage for long time.

Not sure how this gear lube is supposed to look but shows all Phosphorus, Iron, & very little of others. How old would you say the oil is?

If I had to guess I’d say at least circa 2000

Where else would it be coming from?

If I still had the oil I’d use it for starting brush fire or for piling door hinges bout it.
