50 cent old style ST oil filter

Went to walmart today buying steak and chips, Passing through clearance section ( I alway checking auto clearance section ), some time I get car detail stuff really cheap, anyway I saw bunch of Super tech oil filter, the old green box style, kinda old box, but I open a few oil filter and it look really nice and clean, metal cage, and it say something about synthetic media ? and the part # is same as FL1A motorcraft , it really heavy too.

My mustang can using it, but wonder its worth to buy it ? since I dont know how old the filter is. Its about 15 old super tech that will work on my mustang. Im thinking pick up 1 or 2.

no no, I dont like storage stuff, mabe 3 max

btw those old green box ST metal cage is good one right before they went encore.

A lot of the pre-Ecore SuperTech filters were made in Mexico. What is the origin of your find?

I wonder where they've been hiding them? I still have 4 pre-ecore Super Tech filters as well. All Made in the USA!!

Supposedly the quality of Mexican made ones weren't as good but they were still way better than the ones made in China. If your OCI is 3-4k then they should be just fine.
