Another BatteryMinder story, friend had the battery in his Can Am spyder go flat. It's a car sized battery BTW. Had a 1A non BM maintainer on it but left the key on 
so it was down to 4 volts when I checked it at our shared remote storage site not seeing a green light while checking on our bikes. His or the BM would not charge at that low voltage. I used a manual charger to get voltage high enough for the BM to start charging. 3 months of BM and it came back. He rode it all last summer with no issues. Battery was a couple years old prior to the discharging and was in an unheated building with below freezing temps and still in that location while the BM did its magic.
