Hi there, sorry about the string of bad luck.

I am curious was the price really good that lead you to drive 9 hrs on a bus to get it? Is it a diesel or some other rarity. Just curious?

Update : Got my mechanic to look at, the car stuck on 4 wheel drive whole time, he could not get it out off 4 wheel drive, anyway

the front diff need a new one, ( he try to find one from yunk yard, cause he knew the warranty peoples wont pay for new one )

and he will try to figure out why the car stuck in 4 wheel drive whole time, when its in 2wd position.

I think it will be complicate situation then I though it would be, but I will try stay possitive and get thru this.

Good luck! Keep us updated on this issue.

I do have one question and a lot of people are asking: Why did you drive 9 hrs to buy a Jeep?

Cuase my gut tell me too. Over here these car cost 2-3k more then where I bought it from. Its good jeep, I think its my faul that mess it up. Wait til what warranty peoples have to say and see how much they can cover and how much I have to pay out off my pocket. Right now Im start back school after 5 year break. Pray and hope thing work out arite.

Dude, your gut has been nothing but wrong since just about your very first post on this forum. I don't think you've posted one thing about anything you have done yet that wasn't twisted and bad in some way before you were done with the situation.

You Jeep that you saved $2k to $3k is a hunk of junk. Its a 4k pound paper weight right now. You didn't even try putting it into 4WD mode during your test drive? Do you not know to try out EVERY SINGLE FEATURE on a used vehicle during a test drive to make sure they all work properly?

And a warranty means that you pay nothing.
If you got the power train warranty from a Jeep dealer, all you need to do is bring it to ANOTHER JEEP DEALER, and it gets fixed. Why do you have a mechanic searching junk yards for more low quality parts?

The only thing that's your fault is you got all emotional about a used vehicle, and bought it without looking closely enough at it. And now, you're going about getting it fixed all wrong.

I'm not that shocked that this has happened to you.
You're stuck in a rut, and you haven't figured out the best way out of it as of yet.

Good luck to you and your Jeep, though.

BC.

OP, you REALLY need to think things through carefully before doing anything. You play with fire and get burned too much. Your lessons are overly expensive, and it is not a path that will get you on the way to success.

Think with your brain, not your acquisition urges and inbetween your legs. Beware of being penny wise and pound foolish. And learn to live WAY below your means and keep things simple.
