30 year old like new Honda Barn find

Nice, what is your goal for this old car. Just driving about in old pristine Accord or something else?
I had the LX version of this car, ran it to 300K miles before I sold it, I really missed the stick, I was not looking for this, just happened to stumble upon. I have space in to keep it stored so might keep it for a bit.

It's a 4th gen, then. 3rd gens had A20A engines. My LXi had the A20A3 (port injected) version. 3rd gens had cast iron engine blocks while 4th gen switched to aluminum. The motor mounts were also redesigned for the 4th gens, which was a good thing. My Accord required replacement of the mounts three times in 350,000 miles. The vibration would increase over time until the glovebox contents would rattle while stopped at traffic signals. That would be the signal to replace the lower mounts.

There were several other important differences, but I won't bore you with them. 8-{D>

No wonder it looked so familiar! My parents had a 1990 base-model Accord. A DX I think? It had no options.... 5-speed, crank windows, no radio, no passenger-side mirror, no rear defrost, unpainted black bumper covers.... I don't even think it had AC.

Yours looks similar. I don't see a passenger-side mirror. I never considered there were others like it at that late date.

I learned to drive a stick shift on one of these! Nice car and glad you got it running!

This is the exact same car you had. Stripped to the bone, no options.
