I always thought the metal end caps added a bit of structural rigidity. What’s you’re concern?
The build quality is outstanding. For 1 year / up to 10,000 miles use they’re reliably flawless.
Agree. I won’t use a spin on filter without metal end caps.I always thought the metal end caps added a bit of structural rigidity.
Seems non-metal end caps are all ridged enough these days - they work without issue. Haven't seen anything to say otherwise.I always thought the metal end caps added a bit of structural rigidity.
Not at all. If fact I seek them out in my oil filter choices. Being porous they have a superior bond to the porous media. Excellent feature. You guys aren't bothered by the felt end caps?
I find it is too large a diameter. The cage edges are sharp causing stress risers.I love the Ecore center tube design.
The 52s being a tall glass of water fortunately, but if they don't fit, well, they don't fit.The Filter area is inadequate in the tiny Asian spin-on's as it is - for a winter OCI.
