USED OIL FILTER CUT OPEN; filter dets unknown at time of post

Filter is from member braapdaddy. Kinda looks like AC DELCO one. I’ll let him fil is in on what the mileage or OCI was.

The old AC delco was in the trunk of a 68 Chevelle 307 I also had seen sitting for over 20 years that I knew of and it took a passing of the owners to finally convince the family to let me haul it out of thier car yard .......I looks like the filter has never been installed can't wait for you to cut and post

You are very welcome. Have a Quaker Ste filter from him from late 90’s to cut and post too

Quick Google search for PF2 applications. Ford and Chrysler products starting about 1978, when it replaced the PH8a.
Oldy but goodie!

Hello friends the AC delco here is a Type 24 I believe......I got it in a old Chevelle I had been attempting to buy for quite a while I know of the car sitting for over 20 years but my best estimate the car was last on the road in 1986 by the state Inspection stickers

I assumed the filter was new and the box went back to dust years ago

Not 100% certain when used or if it was on the 307 Malibu the car was last inspected in 1986 I honestly thought it was new by the lack of rust

That says something about the anti rust properties of the oil that was used

Yes it was in the trunk along with a really neat old Peak bottle
