2nd Application, Yes or No?

I am waiting for my initial A-RX shipment to arrive. My car will have 86.5K on the odometer when I start the initial cleaning phase. I do not know exactly how the car was maintained by the prior owner.

Would a second application be beneficial or overkill?

are you the original owner of the car? what kind of maintenance have you been doing? is it for the car in your sig?

Why don't you do the first clean and rinse cycle before you worry about the next one. Can you get the valve cover off to look around for a before and after check? By the way, I think you can run Auto-Rx on a clean engine and experience no problems.

Forget looking under the valve cover. That's NOT where it does it's work. that's a splash fed area and minmimal cosmetic cleaning. Do a compression test instead

It is an '02 Volvo S60 (non-turbo) with 85.7K. I am the second owner and I am not confident about the prior maintenance. I intend to start the cleaning phase at 86.5K. This will put me back on my 5K OCI at 90K. I intend to stick with GTX + A-RX MD.
