I have winter tires on rims for the Honda civic, they are 195/65R15. From what I gathered, the Approved Rim Width Ranges should be 5.5 to 7.0.

We are selling the car to the dealer to get an Odyssey, and I would like to know if I can reuse these rims.

The Odyssey comes with 235/65R16. To be close to them on 15" rims, I will need 235/70R15 winter tires which exist for the Michelin X-Ice at least.

I have three questions:
- With 235 in width, can I put them on 5.5-7.0 15" rims?
- Is the offset the same between the Civic and the Odyssey? same bolt pattern?
- Will 15" rims fit on an Odyssey? Clearance for the brakes and other stuff?

Thanks.

The two cars use different bolt pattern (5x114 for Civic, 5x120 for Odyssey). Besides, I believe the smallest rim size on the new Odyssey is 16". Anything smaller will most likely not clear the brakes.

... and a good thing they won't line up with the odyssey weighing 2x as much.
