Wouldn't be surprised, but there's always 30-grade oil available at Walmart.

surprisingly 0w8 is not 40% as thick as 0w20...

In fact there is one specific viscosity that could be called 0w12 0w16 and 0w20 simultaneously.

Am I missing something here? You are buying a new car. It comes with factory fill break in oil. So just drive it. Ask the dealer when to come in for an oil change. Then do that. What's the problem?

Better yet, pop the hood when you get it, and check the oil cap; wonder no more! My guess is 0w-16.

5W-30 would go in mine after the first 3,000 miles.
And in 40+ years I've never gotten an oil change at a dealer.
