First oil change ant 5k miles and bought some PUP oil , not easy finding locally but got it online . Although the ridiculous backlash on a fram filter and Pennzoil ( all the guys hating were for amsoil only ) I’ll still try it out. It’s a daily and no track time will be seen .

The type r page on Facebook 😆 , junk oil ( not amsoil or motul) and a crap filter .
I wouldn’t worry too much about the opinions of people on a Facebook car group. Most members don’t even own the car themselves or are scammers (I moderate a few FB car groups and spend more time getting rid of scammers than anything else) 🤦‍♂️

Although there may be some backlash here for the "leaky Fram". :)
Nah, for one interval it will be fine. I have an Endurance that I bought for my Corvette that I was afraid of using for my last oil change but now I have decided to run it in a future interval anyway. I’m a cheapskate so the thought of having spent $13 on something and not using it is eating me up 🤓

I agree with you.
But there is even a condescending meme that keeps popping up around here. :ROFLMAO:

This made me chuckle!

I concur that tossing a perfectly serviceable filter is wasteful, but I would not refer to a Corvette owner as a cheapskate.

Little do they know that Fram is the OE supplier, and the A02 is basically just a PH7317 :sneaky:

Nothing wrong with PUP, though some people might object to the 0w20 even though that's OE.

Honda says you can even use an orange can for a double OCI :D

Ben is that you smurf?!

What came on the engine from factory? A Black Roki? Seek them out!
I can't believe what I am seeing with this 710 number!
On an R !

I object grade in that engine, forget PUP.
Euro oils. If you like Pennzoil, they have Euro L 5W30. Depending what Honda allows under warranty.
As for the filters, I stop by a local Honda dealership and just get OE, cheaper than FRAM in Wal-Mart.

I maintain a honda car for a woman, and the OEM filter at the dealer is about a dollar less than anything else I can buy. Ford OEM for my 5.0 is maybe 10 cents more at the dealer than something else. I just buy OEM, or have people bring me OEM for their vehicles that I work on.

Nothing wrong with PUP. As far as the Endurance goes we’ve found some with a leaking leaf spring where it contacts the end cap. Worse case is your paying for high efficiency but probably getting OEM efficiency.

That PUP is a great oil and will serve you well. That is Pennzoils "Flag Ship" oil. People should actually try it before they comment on PUP. As for the the home/flash light test. These oil filter manufactures have multi multi million dollar Quality Control labs. I would not lose sleep using a Fram Endurance yesterday or today!!!

Wait you mean they don't have a guy in a room with a filter cutter and flashlight checking these?
