2025 1500 Ram SST Issues

Sure but it took more than two years (or about that) for the first Pentastars to wipe cams. Most people still thought their 3V Triton was pretty cool two years in. Even the 6.0 PSD was probably (well, maybe) gonna last two years and if it didn't dealers talk it off as growing pains and customers say "oh well, it's under warranty"

I hope I'm wrong and the Hurricane winds up being uber reliable, but we just won't know until 5 to 6 years in. Then there are customers who don't keep a vehicle more than 5 years so they just don't care.

FCA is a hot mess in the US market and it's all they can do to keep Ram and Jeep afloat. Without the Ram and the Wrangler they're bust. The Wrangler is largely immune (like The Fowch!) due to how unique it is, but if they start botching the Ram they'll bleed buyers to Ford and GM.

The Pacifica and Fiat-anything sure ain't gonna keep them alive here....and all the other Jeep models combined don't add up to anything worthy of note

FCA hasn't existed for over 4 years.

Update: I had to drop my truck off at the dealership again today after having it for 24 hours because it's out of coolant again.

Any signs of coolant leaking out onto the ground?
Does the engine have a dipstick? If yes, do you see coolant mixed in the engine oil?

No the engine doesn't have a dipstick. It's the auxiliary coolant line so it doesn't cool the block or engine. It cools the turbos and the intercooler. I think there is an issue with the intercooler and it's ingesting coolant. The system is called low temp and only holds 4 quarts.

Aah, exactly the same setup as my Alfa Romeo Stelvio's cooling system:

UPDATE: The dealership drove it 18 miles 3 hours ago but they haven't called with any updates yet. I have also called Ram corporate 3 times and have not heard from my case manager yet. It's just radio silence.
I got an update from corporate that they hope to have the issue diagnosed Monday, February 3rd. That will be 45 Days broken from 19 December with less than 24 hours of use between 28-29 January.
 
Stellantis still uses the FCA US LLC labeling in their business dealings for their North American operations. Their current media press releases and most of the CDJR corporate brand web pages still use the FCA byline term.
Shhhh, I was trying to give them plausible deniability...
 
Four radiators, two expansion tanks, more hoses. I love it.
I don't see a single additional point of failure.

It's a Stellantis product, so the answer is a whole bunch.

-Early cars are infamous for radiator leaks/seep near the top driver side.
-The various lines you mentioned are infamous for the plastic housings and plastic air bleed screws for cracking/leaking.
-The LT cooling system has an electric pump in it, and there is a relay that feeds power to that pump. The relay is famous for failing / sticking, so you lose the ability to get full power from your car, usually without a CEL to let you know that the circuit isn't getting power.
-Cylinder head gaskets can weep coolant into the combustion chambers, leading to cold start misfires that Stellantis had to release a TSB to inform dealer techs what to look for when they can't find a cause for the random misfire, and to get them to stop replacing the expensive Multi-Air unit unnecessarily.

That's just off the top of my head for the I-4 Giulia's and Stelvio's.
That doesn't include the 500 hp V-6 motors.

Got my truck back after 46 days of being broken. It was a 3 hour, $327.89 repair. They ordered the wrong water pump, then after they installed the correct one forgot to burp the system so I brought it back less than 24 hours later for an empty coolant tank again. It took them 5 days after that to diagnose the issue as an air bubble. Incompetent morons. Anyway my arbitration is 14 days away for lemon law and breach of warranty.

When looking at all of the problems (cooling system, ABS, Driver Assist) that you've had in the past 46 days of 'brokenness'... what percentage do you estimate have been issues attributable to the truck (e.g. the failed water pump), and what percentage have been issues attributable to the dealership (e.g. ordering the wrong pump, failing to install it properly)?

I mean the truck broke it should have taken about a week to repair. The rest of it was definitely the dealerships inability to get the right parts and follow the right procedures for the repairs that stretched out the repair time.
 
UPDATE: Ram submitted their evidence for the case. They are lying about the dates and timelines for my truck trying to get out of lemon lawing my truck. They claim I brought it in December 24th and it was fixed January 28th with no additional issues. I have submitted proof that after I took it there December 23rd it wasn't moved again until their first repair attempt January 16th. Also, if I goty truck back in January, why was Ram corporate trying to figure out when I would get my truck back in February?

Ram is lying and dishonest about this situation. I can't believe the lengths they are going through to try and prevent the truck from being a lemon
