2024 Civic 1.5T 6MT - Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20 - 6,045 Mi

6.87 cSt is all because of fuel, very typical for Honda Turbo DI engine. The new PUP 0w20 is 8.8 cST. I increased my viscosity to Xw-30 in my 2.0T Honda engine. This is just to offset oil getting thin.

Oxidation is 9.6 . This is from Y.T. video ( below ) . It has the U.O.A. and V.O.A. for the P.U.P. 0w20 . Scroll down for V.O.A..Thanks for the post .

I am talking about viscosity at 100C, PUP 0w-20 is 8.8 cSt virgin last time I looked

The P.U.P. 5w-20 is 8.8 @ 100C cSt with 9.2 for Oxidation . Oxidation is also important . Especially for vehicles with fuel dilution . Not sure if the P.U.P. 5w-20 would be more beneficial than the 0w-20 . 🤷‍♂️

Something is not right here. Ultra 0w-20 starts at 8.8. How come it slipped to 6.87 without fuel in the oil? Or did your turbo chew it that bad?
