2022 Honda Civic 1.5T with 248,000 miles!

It's made it 250k miles so far 🤷‍♂️ It's also very possible it's had the fluid changed as CarFax doesn't always show every service that gets done. It's like they have a 5 or 6-line max output.
even if it wasn't ATF replaced on this unit, this transmission will go on forever pretty much; those hwy miles are not detrimental to its life such as age of cars or low miles that sits for most of its lifetime

Also, CVT Honda's units are yet to be seen falling apart; these CVTs are in nearly 10 years in the production cycle out there

Uhh...do you have any idea how much limos idle?
Depends on the duty, I'm thinking Airport shuttle limo's, probably should have been more clear on that. You can't idle at Pearson so everybody is always moving and the drive in/out from anywhere is long. I saw one of the TC's from there with 1.2 million Km on it for sale years back, original engine and trans.

Hard to see by the photos but wonder how many rock chips are in the front end or if they repainted it after all those miles.
I'd think it would be peppered like crazy upfront. I see a nice dent on the driver-side rear door along the crease...

It’s a gem…💎

Just playing to the skeptics here who would insist that transmission "will never last" since it hasn't (possibly) had fluid changes 😂

of course, any car out there can endure more beating than one would expect :D

Pretty cool I think! This person probably gets paid pretty well to as most medical couriers get paid by the mile. Of course the flip side is that they are responsible for maintenance, fuel etc.

The Subaru Crosstreck that someone posted a while back, he was/is a medical courier and he said he filled up 3 times a day

Not quite as impressive, but I have a customer that works as an independent courier who racks up 100k a year on their Tacoma. They get a new one every 4 years, trading in the old one at 400-450k.

Challenge accepted, I will rack up so many miles on my New Jetta, this will be a joke. I've had it for a couple months, but only put 20 miles on it 😭

Do medical couriers there get to claim mileage as a non-taxble expense? If so, that is a great job to make a lot of extra $$ and a Civic is a great choice.

Probably with 0W20. At Honda, you can actually tip everything in. So far, no engine has broken on the allegedly false thin oil.

Did the Honda dealer use HPL, Amsoil or Redline and Amsoil or the old style oil Fram XG oil filters and UOAs every oil change? Using dealer bulk oil guarantees the engine will barely make it past the warranty period.
