2022 Honda Civic 1.5T with 248,000 miles!

Well folks they just lowered the price to $17,899. I wish it wasn't so far away I would trade mine in. 2022 is a BRAND NEW body style for the Civic.
well dude just do it, I mean a medical courier drives something equivalent to say a South Dakota to Dallas run...what's the biggie ;)

It's too far away or I would buy it providing it passed my inspection. I previously owned a medical courier car owned by Avera Health in Sioux Falls SD it had 205,000 miles on it and I bought it on auction sight unseen. It was a very clean and well cared for car and I drove it a couple years and made $1000 on the vehicle. It was a 2003 white Toyota Corolla LE with an automatic transmission. It was a very reduced price and only about 3 years old and I would buy this type of vehicle again in a heartbeat. A basic Honda Civic LX sedan sells for over $25,000 and all the dealers want a large "MARKET ADJUSTMENT" over MSRP. I have 4 vehicles to drive and my wife works from home therefore it's difficult for me to wear them out thus a high mileage loaded Civic would work great for my everyday bombing around aimlessly in retirement.

It's made it 250k miles so far 🤷‍♂️ It's also very possible it's had the fluid changed as CarFax doesn't always show every service that gets done. It's like they have a 5 or 6-line max output.
That i didn't know. But that seems like a silly limitation to impose.

It all depends on how their software picks up services on the work order. Someone should add this VIN to their Honda Owners account and extract the full service history.

I was struck by the fact that there was no picture of the instrument cluster or the mileage. Generally, that's one of the images taken of the interior. I can't help but think that this is a hoax.
My gf just looked it up, and they have one on the website now.

My driving is mostly confined to the SF Bay Area. eg I spend ~$2400/year on bridge tolls. ~60-90k miles/year.

This has to involve distance courier work. The miles driven and wear and tear with this Civic would be quite relative and not that bad.

It is certainly noteworthy and insane. Under what circumstances is the car being sold ?

My friend in the courier trade has almost 400k miles, spread over a few years on his 2019 Civic Hatchback. I will pepper him next time I see him. I believe he uses M1 5W30, with unknown M1 formula and OCI.

The man does drive like Granny. I have passed him numerous times on freeways over the years.

There is a guy on the internet that worked as a courier and drove his car over a million miles and it was a Civic. Then there is another guy name million mile Joe that had a Honda Accord that lasted 1 million miles and Honda gave him a brand new one. That is why I believe the Civic Touring with leather seats is worth the $17,999 or somewhere close to that figure. How bad can a car look when it's fairly new.
