2022 Honda Civic 1.5T with 248,000 miles!

Maybe Honda says it's a "lifetime fluid" 😂

Really nothing special. Oil changes every 10k miles, spark plugs/etc every 100k miles. Imagine how many people (here) refuse to believe/accept 10k oil changes are feasible.

How many of us drive our vehicle more miles than most semi truck drivers put on a Freightliner in a year?

Not a lifetime fluid: Honda’s Maintenance Minder has a code for CVT fluid changes and specifies a 25k interval if driven under severe conditions.

The car will sell if it drives nice. That is a very expensive car brand new with the options it has listed. It's a top of the line Civic and the dealers are usually not selling these car for MSRP since they ask for a market adjustment or add their own paint sealers, floor mats, free ding repair and a couple oil and filter changes and charge one or two thousand extra. Actually I wish it were closer to home I would be interested in buying it to replace my daily driver Civic. I cant wear these Civic's out therefore a high mileage model would be worth it for my use. A new engine would be very easy to find because they just do not have many problems and you can go on ebay and buy a good engine for $1500.00 or less. Plus everyone likes red.

Any reservations I might have once had about the longevity of the Honda turbocharged L15 are now gone. Looks like a fine replacement for the mighty K24.
Eh, this isn't representative of the "typical duty cycle," so I would not read too much into this example. Headgaskets are kind of an issue with the 1.5T and I'm sure the lack of heat cycling helped this one live as long as it did.

Great maintenance records but too many miles for $20k. What is a medical courier btw?
From Google:
What is a medical courier? Medical couriers deliver medical documents, lab specimens, medications, test results, medical supplies, and other records across the country every single day. In many cases, the delivery of these resources is critical to saving lives and advancing medical sciences.

in other words, the dream job @ BITOG :)

If this car were closer to where I live I would gladly give them my 2012 Civic plus $12,000 cash. I have almost 125,000 miles on mine but I actually feel this load up car is worth the money they are asking. I would have to believe the car could easily go another 100,000 miles. After all it's a top of the line Civic TOURING and not just an LX. Plus it is the correct color and has black leather interior.

I wonder why they sold it now, why not march on to 400k?

It would be interesting to know what the dealer gave them on trade-in.

I remember a guy on here from Michigan who bought a 6-10 year old Accord with 550k miles. Think it was an 07 with the K24. Great shape and purchased from the Honda dealer. He had 575k last time I heard from him. So this one has half the miles.

Considering the CVT had had no intervals I wonder how long it'll last. That fluid must be roasted.

Well folks they just lowered the price to $17,899. I wish it wasn't so far away I would trade mine in. 2022 is a BRAND NEW body style for the Civic.
