Agree'd. You can get a lightly used GX for the price of a 4Runner TRD OR or TRD Pro.
You get a nicer interior, 301hp/330 tq V8, 6 speed, 6500 lb towing, full-time 4wd with center torsen diff, standard KDSS, and it can come with air ride in the back. Mine did not have air ride but I intended to lift it so I did not care. There is not even an MPG disadvantage really even with the 4.6L V8.
The only big disadvantage is that they don't come with a rear locker, but do share the same axle with the 4Runner and can be swapped in.
