I have a 2021 duramax. It has between 21,000 and 22,000 miles. I had an UOA done by JG Lubricants. I had two things come back out of range. The Iron was 20ppm and the copper was 26 ppm. What does everyone think about those numbers? There paperwork shows abnormal.

How long was the oil in service?

What did the rest of the numbers look like?

Were there previous UOA with which this could be compared?

How was the truck used? Short trips? Towing?

Sure would help if we could see the entire UOA, instead of two numbers without any context.

Have you been towing?
Can you post the report? Asking because there's a lot of questions people will have based upon what else is in the report. (ex, Miles on oil, viscosity, oxidation, fuel).

UOA's are for trending so you have only 1 data point.

Please post your report; that makes it a whole lot easier for us to understand.

Also, you're not helping us to help you; too little information is available.

I have sent you a PM (private message conversation); look in the upper right hand corner of your screen for the little mail icon next to your user name ...
