I used to be a stickler for OEM filtration too but I now just use the fram orange can on my pathfinder and sleep good at night after seeing a few posts on here of Nissan OEM filters cut open, I wasn't too impressed.

My only recommendation is a synth 5w30. Not liking the ending visc of the 0w20's and know that valvetrain history all too well.

Fram oil filter is just fine for 5k intervals. No need for anything else. The supertech filter is an option too if the Fram spot on the store shelf was empty.
