Your list and arguments are as simplistic as always.

DIdn't know hte pilot had a ZF, but you also clearly missed where I'm aware the RDX does not. I'd also point out that you have no arguments. You just shoot your keyboard off and obfuscate the issue until people forget about it. You'd make a great politician.

Now can you explain why a luxury car/SUV must have a longitudinal engine? Yeah, that's right. You can't.

That is A LOT for unibody platform. It weigh 5,500lbs, it has two speed transfer case etc. R/T is not 0-60 machine, but it will swallow for breakfast all appliance SUV's.

I used to own a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 357hp HEMI in it. QD2. Etc. I, too, know quite a bit about the platform. There is a REASON I didn't buy another one, and like my CX5 so much better. Also, no, I only towed one thing ever. A u-haul trailer. Once.

I literally cannot remember all of the things that broke on my Jeep in it's 5 year, 95K mile life. It's a laundry list a mile long. The things that broke on my 2015 CX5? I flooded the diff and it died 2 months later full of chocolate milk (I was unaware). The fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator both took a dump 5 minutes after getting fuel at the 106K mile mark (I'm gonna go ahead and blame fuel, here...). That's it. The only 2 things that deadlined the car, and neither one deadlined it, as I drove it after the incident to work, and t hen the dealer, on both occasions without causing any further or compounding damage.

My Jeep?

-Water pump
-transmission leaking (2x)
-Randomly died once after hitting the brakes (no clue [censored])
-N23 recall killed 4WDLo numerous times until I replaced the FDCM
-Sunroof guide broke
-tons of other random stuff I cannot remember
-Finally an SES light that got it traded in and deactivated the MDS (I have no clue [censored] was wrong, and wasn't going to find out)

What really caught my eye is that Soccer mom Pilot runs same time as CX5 and packs 500lbs more.
You clearly put CX5 by mistake there. It belongs in comparison to RAV4, CR-V, VW Tiguan etc.

I owned one and know entirely too much about them lol...

My point was some owners think their R/T's are the greatest things to ever grace the Earth. They spout out BS like how much horsepower they have, how "good" their exhaust sounds, how "quick" they are, and then get incredibly defensive when you point out that the minivan for people who don't want a minivan (Pilot) will give their precious 5.7 a run for its money with 2 less cylinders. Or that from 2011 till 2018 water pumps seemed to have a ~30k mile lifespan.

It was nice, but I'd buy a Mazda CX-5/9 over another Grand Cherokee/Durango. I don't tow, so I don't care about tow ratings and they're the best looking things on the road (I can't afford an Audi RS6 Avant) in my opinion.

Sure, people might think it is best thing after sliced bread. I would say that I am not sure how one gets s little hp out of such a large engine. Though, torque is there. I am just saying, it is OK vehicle and much better than what traditional image of Dodge is.
But, nothing compares to owners of JEEP Wrangler.

Question regarding a RX 350 option:
It seems common that many new RX 350 in my area have the towing package with extra cooling capacity, engine oil cooler, and bigger transmission cooler.
It is not terribly expensive, but my questions:

A) Is this a factory installed feature -or- a dealer add-on?

B) What are your opinions on the overall worth of it - i.e. does does it provide useful margin / additional longevity in a non-towing situations? For example, sitting in traffic on the hottest summer day, A/C on high...

C) Your thoughts on extra plumbing connections/ joints / overall added complexity & reduction in reliability.

D) Confusing to service? i.e. different fluid capacities / risk of mistakes for the life of the vehicle.

Thanks for your comments.

Our 2018 RX450h has the towing package.
It is a factory installed option.
I cannot speak to your other questions.
But I would include the towing option.

If you get an RX, you will love it.
If we could only have 1 car, this would be it.
