Has anyone here re-sealed a timing cover on the 2.0T in the KL Cherokee platform?
I'm looking at one.....95% sure it's timing cover after using dye. It's leaking behind the motor mount so visibility is near zero at the actual source
Info on this engine in the KL is nearly non-existent -- I don't think it was commonly optioned. I know timing cover leaks are VERY common in the JL Wrangler 2.0s
I guess I'm wondering about labor time and if the engine is supposed to be pulled. It looks like enough room with the engine in place, but that doesn't mean anything. JLs are of course way different because of engine orientation
