I would never push oil that far. The car had 25k miles at time of oil change. Oil has 5200 miles. Guess I could've worded it different. Was impressed you went 25k on the rgt, till I saw the uoa results.
8.6 cSt for a 5W20 after 5200 miles seems impressive. Which oil was used on the previous two reports?Got my 25k oil change done. Analysis looks good. Getting board with RGT. I do have some 10w30 Castrol Magnatec I may try next summer. Used another champion filter with 0w20 RGT
All have been RGT either 0w20 or 5w20. It's a good oil however I don't think it was intended for extended oil changes.8.6 cSt for a 5W20 after 5200 miles seems impressive. Which oil was used on the previous two reports?
Looks good, did you cut the old filter open?Got my 25k oil change done. Analysis looks good. Getting board with RGT. I do have some 10w30 Castrol Magnatec I may try next summer. Used another champion filter with 0w20 RGT
Aye. 5-6k seems to be the sweet spot with 7k being about the max as far as TBN.All have been RGT either 0w20 or 5w20. It's a good oil however I don't think it was intended for extended oil changes.

I will later when I think about it.Looks good, did you cut the old filter open?
Well I did 7800 miles on the previous change and Blackstone suggested I don't go any farther. So I just keep it at 5k.IlSAC Lubricants have been OLM or factory recommended interval and some of those are 1X year or 10K miles max.
I don't think I would go that distance, unless If you are driving over 2K highway miles per month on a P.I engine.

I wonder what the viscosity starts at? Most 20 grade oils with 5000 miles on them have thinned down <7 cSt. I wonder how much of that is the oil and how much is the vehicle just being easy on the oil.All have been RGT either 0w20 or 5w20. Well, you know ts all on how the car is used and fuel quality and state of tune and ... state of mind. Thanks ! I was hoping for the R.G.T. 5w-20 . Looks good , seems like it could go 7,500 miles . Just put this in the '18 Accent ( 1.6 Ltr. , G.D.I. ) for the next 6 or 7 months . Is this the S.N.+ , GF-5 ?
Here's ta few V.O.A.s' for R.G.T. 5w-20 ( S.N.+ , GF-5 ) for comparison to the U.O.A..
