Audi expects owners to be grateful for being accorded the privilege of owning one of "their cars" and when you return to the dealership you are expected to stand in line, follow instructions, pay the bill with humility and return on schedule. It's all part of the "experience".
How many Audis have you owned?
One (1) and I learned my lesson. Audi treated us like the enemy. At the time the car was my wife's DD and since I was traveling a lot she took it to the dealer for all its service. The dealership owner, Alan Johnson was a friend as were a lot of the service people. They all tried to help but Audi stood us off. Alan comped most of the work and my wife paid a discounted price for the parts. When we sold that Audi we both said, "never again". The car was great to drive but the electrical system was a booby trap. I had to add extra grounds and wire the fuel pump away from the fuse block with its own fuse. Several of the dealership mechanics got ahold of the same ground straps from a boat supply house and would do the same fix to customer cars. If not the open grounds would cause the alternator to overcharge the battery frying both the alternator and the battery. The fuel pump connection in the fuse box would fry the whole block. So, Audi....never again.
