2017 Mazda CX-5 HPL No- VII 10w20 Euro

Because it isn't high?

I used quotes around "high". It's high vs other oils, in other words, what is making the AL read that much higher specifically in HPL (no vii?) vs every other oil I've run. The report above shows the same thing. Yes I know AL is still low and within the margin of error etc etc but there is no getting around the fact that HPL no vii reads consistently much higher numbers vs other oils I've seen, in various engines as well.

None of the wear metals worry me at all. I'm wondering if i should go back to a less expensive oil and change more often as i was before.

This report makes me consider going back to 0w-40 and change every 2-3k.
I'm in the same boat you are. My wife's car is short tripped and suffers from fuel dilution. Running HPL No VII 5w20. I'm pulling a sample again at 3k or 4 month-ish to see where I'm at. Considering 0w30 next.
