None of them will be missed. But EVO? That was the only reason Mitsubishi ever came up in my conversations, oh well.

The Koreans need to figure out you can't sell a luxury car next to a $12,000 Econo box. It's a whole different process.

I had a very well-to-do friend buy a Genesis. He is very intelligent. He told me he thought some of the (unscrupulous) things the Hyundai dealer tried to pull in the purchasing process of his Genesis went out in the 80's.

No, they can read "The Phaeton meets the Golf" a slow selling European novel.

3 Scions are going away? What's left? The tC and the BRZ clone? Is Scion even sticking around.

Sad to see the Xterra go - it was the last of the true body on frame SUV's.

I'm still shaking my head at the way Mitsubishi has fallen.

-Evolution
-3000GT
-Montero
-Pajero
-Lancer (when new)

All good vehicles (the EVO was a great car) that if updates and engineering would have kept with the times, could have competed in today's market place.

At least we'll always have the historic Mitsubishi wrecking yard at Wai Momi

I'm not surprised to see the Honda Crosstour go....it had a bigger rear end than a Kardashian......

Yes, the fanboyzz will be wearing black, and mourning for quite a while (even though they only really LOVED the older, first gen based EVOs, and NOT the last, Volvo look-a-like, EVO 10 version).

RS Motorsports had better take care of all of theirs, since they won't even be able to get unibody/suspension parts soon.

Jeep Wrangler, Ford Expedition, Chevy Tahoe, all still in production, all body-on-frame, all true SUVs.

We now get the rolling trash heap called a mirage and Ho hum SUVs. They want to go out of business.

It's a good decision.

After what my friend said he went through-I hope they have some corporate type learning to show salespeople how to sell a car to a sophisticated buyer.

I got news for you, Hyundai is not the cheap car it used to be they are way up there in cost these days but they are great vehicles. Hyundai is into everything and is known for being well made not like in 1986 when they were jokes and all the other car salesmen used to laugh now the laughs are on them..

Yeah simple_gifts, LOL i wiped the sweat from my brow

But in all seriousness, at least the Mirage doesn't try to be something it isn't. You know what you're getting once you test drive it. It's the rest of the product line that has serious issues. The Mirage can remain as the bargain basement economy car sold here and sell responsibly well. But when the Lancer hasn't been updated for 8 years? Oh boy.
