Any recommendations for the best valve cover gasket kit these days for the 3.6L? Mopar? Felpro? I'd really like to do this once and be done for at least another 125k+miles.

Thanks.

Mopar is all separate
R - 5184595AE
L - 5184596AE
Phaser seals - 5184855AB x4
Spark plug tube seals 5184778AB x6
Camshaft sensor 5184772AB x2

Felpro kit - VS50805R

can't really go wrong with either, mopar is about 230 for all that vs about 82 for felpro at autozone.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if Felpro would be a good choice for this application or not. I may just do the felpro.

Fel-Pro should be good.

Also replace every other gasket you have to remove on your way to the valve cover and anything else that is a common failure item that requires pulling the intake, so that you never have to do it again. For example, you also want a plenum gasket set, which isn't included in the Fel-Pro package.

Also get a set of NGK ruthenium or iridium spark plugs.

Fail-Pro is terrible on Honda J-series and some Toyotas. The gaskets shrink after a few years and they start leaking.

Not sure if the same is true for domestic applications.

What's the newest Fel-Pro you've seen do this? I wonder if it's still a problem.
