2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited v6 oil change

About to change the oil in my "slightly used" Grand Cherokee. I've got 6 quarts of Mobil 1 5W-20 laying around...any recommendations? What about filter? I was thinking about a K&N.

I have been using Pennzoil platinum and s Mopar filter with 7000 mile oci. Didn't know k&n made a filter for the Pentastar engine.

I would go with Mopar filter. I tried a Napa gold on one and got low oil pressure warnings, swapped it out for a Mopar.

The Pentastar was originally specified for 5w30. There were no oiling system changes over the years so that change was CAFE driven.

So even though I'd use 5w30 in this engine the 3.6 shows great results with 0/5w20. Check my signature for my oil choice, but it should do well on the M1.
