When I watched Rodgers hobble for that first down, I though they were going to get things back under control, and they did. But, as soon as I head that they called tails on the coin flip, I knew Wilson was going to find some stupid way to win the game on that drive.
Why that one defender didn't bat at the ball in the 4th quarter, no one will ever know.
Why the guy jumped up to retrieve the onside kick, and instead let it hit him right in the face, no one will ever know.
But Green Bay sure worked hard to find a way to lose that game to a team that wasn't better.
Now, I have to watch a Super Bowl with the two teams I can't seem to decide which I dislike more. The NY'er in me always defaults to rooting against the team from MA, but after last years whipping of the Broncos, I just can't root for Seattle, either.
Maybe New England will win the game, and later be disqualified for cheating.
That's probably the best outcome I can come up with.
BC.
People can claim that SEA outplayed GB in that game, but I don't know what game they watched. What I saw was a game that was completely dominated by GB for 7/8 of the game, and then occurred a series of miracle circus-like plays from SEA to get back into, and eventually win the game...GB was clearly the better team, with SEA winning the game on a bunch of very lucky plays...SEA fans should be counting their lucky stars...and if I were you, I wouldn't be so confident going against NE now...SEA is most definitely not as good as I thought they were, and luck isn't going to win many Super Bowls...
