Too much of the tall and skinny (a fine combo on some things, but not a car) going on there. Add in overly busy wheels, vestigial turn signals, a bulbous front box, and just way too much ugly. The fog lights look nice but suggest fragile mountings. The side mirrors need some paint.
I like that it doesn't look like they're going with the "how high can we raise the belt line" approach to windows and I can almost believe it might be comfortable to put an arm out one. The door handles look nice and I like the color.

Perhaps, but I feel the newer Maximas are very nice. I can see a little of the Maxima hood on this Sentra. I'd like to see one in person to have an opinion.

Maybe I read too much Wikipedia, but seeing that window kink on a car like that gives me the feeling of "Mazda trying to pass an econobox off as a performance car" a bit. Yeah, it's not Mazda doing it, but it's the same color.

So they tried to dwarf the outside of the Maxima, which is a nice looking car, and got something that looks less appeasing.
I like the unique look of the Sentra. I had to double take at the badge to make sure it's not a Lexus.
IMO the best Sentra is the B13 Sentra (early 1990's). SE-R pkg if you were the lucky one.

Uninspiring. But then I know its just a basic transportation type car so I wouldnt really expect F1 styling!

Agreed however Kia kills it with all offerings, style and basic transport rolled into one. It can be done.

I see a lot of the Kia Optimas on the road and they are a decent looking car.

Not sure about it yet. I'd like a side profile. The rear looks like a Toyota.
