My charger is an 06 and does not tick whatsoever,but doesn't have vvt either if that matters.
As far as moly I use mos2 in it and have since my mos2 trials when I first bought it.
So maybe the mos2 did something more than just improved mileage. I don't know since I haven't opened it up.
Regardless it's a great engine. As much as I'm a mustang guy my next ride won't be one.
Challenger probably.
