2013 Civic Valve Cover gasket recommendation

My grand nieces '13 Civic LX, 180K, needs a VC gasket.
I was just gonna Rock Auto or Amazon it. I imagine the Honda gasket is a good way to go as well.
Of course I will put a little RTV blurb in the corners.

I am leaning towards Fel-Pro or Honda.
Your thoughts?

Don't buy a fel-pro. They don't work well in Honda's. Buy OEM. It is no more expensive than aftermarket.

FP used to be the way to go, back in the day. I've heard that their quality has slipped; hence my question.

I used a Mahle on a 2010 f1.8L Honda. It worked fine.

I'm just about to replace the valve cover gaskets on my Accord V6. The advice I got was "only use Honda OEM" so that's what I'm going to do. I'm replacing all the gaskets, seals, etc while I'm at it which is kind of expensive but I don't want to do the job twice.

Echo the no Fel-Pro comments. The ones I put on one of my J-series cars lasted about 6 months.

Go OEM, they're not that expensive.

OE Honda, Permatex Ultra Grey works well for the joint sealing.

They feel a bit less substantial than the factory gaskets, but are still miles better than BITOG's favorite blue gasket.

The MAHLE Clevite valve cover gaskets and tube seals that I've recently used on Hondas (K24, J35) appear to be identical to the OEM parts from the local dealer.

$537 list and $381 discounted from them for front brake pads for a CRV ?

I would also use the Mahle gaskets.
